Finatem III acquired Techno-Physik-Group from E.G.O. Elektrogeräte AG, Zug, Switzerland. Techno-Physik-Group has its headquarters in Germany and holds subsidiaries in Switzerland, Slovenia and Austria and produces insulation and fire prevention materials. One of its main businesses is the marketing of asbestos free insulations, especially Vermiculit insulations. This is the first transaction for Finatem Fonds III, which held its first close in January 2010. Despite of the changed market conditions Finatem was able to complete this transaction as a leveraged buy-out.

OMF was legal counsel to Finatem. The team which practices now at OMF has been counsel to Finatem since 2000 and advised on all Finatem transactions.
