First IPO of 2011: Finatem retains OMF for IPO of Derby Cycle
Derby Cycle AG of which a majority stake is held by Finatem Funds, plans its initial public offering for February 4, 2011 under the lead of equinet Bank AG and BHF Bank AG.
Derby Cycle Group, Cloppenburg, holds subsidiaries in Switzerland and USA and is the largest German bicycles producer. The product portfolio of Derby Cycle includes brands such as Kalkhoff, Focus and Raleigh.
OMF advised in the IPO of Derby Cycle on behalf of Finatem. The team which practices now at OMF has been legal counsel to Finatem since the founding of its first fund in 2000. Since then the OMF-team advised on all of Finatem's transactions.
