OMF advises the German Startups Group and the minority shareholders on the sale of all shares in Exozet
The German Startups Group is a listed, leading venture capital provider in Germany with its headquarters in Berlin and a focus on young, fast-growing (tech) companies. Since the start of business in 2012, the German Startups Group has developed into a very active venture capital investor with an extensive portfolio, including AuctionTech, Ceritech, Fiagon, Mister Spex, Remerge and Simplesurance.
In the course of the sale of Exozet in a structured bidding process, Dr. Axel Pajunk (LEXAdvice) was responsible for the legal issues and Dr. Thomas. M. Hofacker provided tax and commercial law advice.
Exozet is one of the leading German agencies for digital transformation and provider of virtual 3D training solutions based on DiSTI. Exozet has a team of 156 employees in Germany and Austria with extensive know-how ranging from advice to design and implementation to technical innovations. The customer list includes well-known companies, including Audi, Volkswagen, Deutsche Bahn, Deutsche Telekom, Siemens, ARD, ZDF, 3sat, ProSiebenSat.1, ORF, BBC, Media Broadcast, Axel Springer Verlag, Red Bull, Haribo and Ferrero.
Exozet was acquired by Endava plc, a technology service provider listed on the New York Stock Exchange with headquarters in London and over 5,900 employees and numerous branches in various locations in Europe, North and South America.
